The Istanbul Museum of Modern ArtTurkey's first museum of modern and contemporary art, it is located next to the Sea of Marmara and first opened in 2004. It reopened on May 4, 2023 after five years of reconstruction.

The architect of the new pavilion is Italian architect Renzo Piano, he is a famous contemporary Italian architect, is the 20th Pritzker Prize winner in 1998.
